tarte Rainforest of the Sea Cleanser & Moisturizer Review
A few weeks ago I was browsing Sephora for the second time that week when I came across a new tarte display. The purple and blue colours with the gold accents caught my attention. And once I realized that the theme of this collection was the sea, I was hooked. See, my favourite movie since I was three years old has been The Little Mermaid. Growing up I declared Prince Eric as my first crush at age four, and by age six I thought I was going to be a mermaid when I'd grow up. Fast forward 15 years and I'm still obsessed with anything that is "mermaid" related.
Back to Sephora. The beautiful tarte collection is called Rainforest of the Sea and it's simply stunning to look at. All the make up is gorgeous, but what I gravitated towards was the skin care. I picked up the Drink of H2O moisturizer. And let me tell you when I smelt it it was love at first scent. The citrus scent reminded me of a Slurpee and I wanted that moisturizer. I ended up not only getting that, but the face cleanser that went a long with it.

This is a great cleanser for my combination skin. I have trouble finding a cleanser that doesn't strip my face of moisture. This one doesn't. It feels extremely fresh and calming on the skin, while doing a great job of a deep clean.

Other than its amazing scent, the thing I love most about this product is that it's a gel moisturizer. With my combination skin I find it extremely difficult to find a moisturizer that adds that perfect amount of moisture back into my skin. Not only does this product do that, but because it's a gel it dry instantly and doesn't leave any greasiness behind.
I definitely recommend trying out these products if you have the chance. I do think that if you have dry skin that this may not work as well for you. But you can try both products for a cheap price!
