Emergency Kit Essentials Collaboration time! The Trendy Files and Alli Mae Fresh Events got together last month to gab, sip and share our ideas on the essential things you need on a night out or even your big day. This led us to the creation of this blog, letting you in on the contents of our go-to emergency kits, as well as get you thinking about how to prepare your own.

Who hasn’t ventured out for a night on the town and thought ‘oh shoot’ if only I had _____. We think that no matter what the occasion, there are a ton of similarities between a big event like a wedding and a fabulous night out. During these times an organized person always comes prepared! Here’s a list of the top items to consider, all of which can fit in your classic clutch to keep things manageable (and stylish).
Here’s a peek at what it looks like when we're all done!

Blotting Paper
Light weight and disposable, these are the perfect little papers to remove shine and sweat in a pinch.
Clear Nail Polish
Our fav! You can do so much with a little bottle. Stop a run in your hose, give plain nails a little shine, stop loose threads or buttons from falling off by reinforcing in the middle, relieve a bug bite itch, and these are just to name a few.
Lip Balm
Need we say more? What’s worse than cracked lips?
Sample Perfume
A little spritz can be oh-so-refreshing as you move from day to night (plus the samples are free and basically take up no space, so why not?)
Bobby Pins
The ultimate to save you from a bad hair day.
Flat Comb
Portable and super handy to tame stray hairs and remove any unwanted tangles!
Floss Pick
Food stuck in your teeth before the big event or meeting? We heart these little guys for teeth touch ups in between meals!

Gotta stay fresh! Try to go for mini size so you can talk and stay refreshed at the same time!
Safety Pins
The little pin of infinite possibilities especially for any wardrobe malfunctions! Try to keep a big and small size in your bag – you never know which one will come in handy.

Because sometimes you need to toss your mane in an impromptu up-do!

Not pictured: Ballet socks for keeping your feet free of dirt once you ditch your heels on the dance floor. And bandages, they can come any handy for sooo many things!
