GRWM: Halloween 2017

Forget the pumpkin spiced lattes, 'fall' scented candles, and chunky sweaters, to me the best part about this time of year is Halloween. Just hand me a glue gun and Pinterest and I'm all set to DIY a costume. Seriously though, there's nothing I love more than putting together a Halloween costume - just take a look at my Five DIY Halloween Costumes from two years ago. This year I opted to be a bit less ambition -mostly because of lack of time- and only DIY one. Not going to lie though, it took a bit of time to figure out what I wanted to be this year, but I'm super pumped with the results.

Thanks to Pinterest and LC (Lauren Conrad the OG reality star) I found my look, none other than Ms. Mary Poppins! This Disney legend holds a special place in my heart. My mom was the one who introduced me to the movie and it instantly became a favourite between my sister and I (and I still love it!)

Here's how I put together the look!

Makeup you'll need:
-Your regular base makeup
-Bright pink blush
-Grey eyeshadow
-Eyeliner
-Red Lipstick
-Mascara

What you'll need for the costume:
-White blouse
-Black skirt
-Red bow
-Black hat
-Cranberries & daisies
-Umbrella (optional)

What are you being for halloween this year? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. The executive chef here was a genuinely nice person and never made us feel like we were just "business" for him. He was extremely competent and organized. Because of the natural beauty of the Seattle venues, we were able to get away with very minimal decorations.
